FTM - Factory Test Mode

Hi,

I had a strange situation this morning. I put my phone into my pocket. 15 minutes later I took it out of the pocket and had a black background with a white rectangle - about a quarter screen size - aligned in the center of the screen with three big letters FTM.
It said something with Factory Test Mode and long-press power button to exit.

Does someone know how the phone could possibly have entered that mode?

The Axon 7 switches to FTM-Mode, when you hold the volume down key while starting the phone.

Hello Robert,

Just to let you know that you are not alone.
I experienced the same FTM screen twice today (and that the first time this append to me)
I have the phone for 2 months now and I am very pleased with it.
I don’t know if there is a connection but mine is in a Spigen® [Rugged Armor] protection
(maybe pressure on the buttons?)

(I will probably use sand paper on the Spigen Rugged Armor internal buttons profiles)
