Wenn, dann mach du mal.
Für mich gehörte dies jetzt zum Thema der ZTE-Roms, da in China wohl original vorgesehen.

Diskussionen über Root/Customroms etc. sind hier im Forum vermutlich nicht im Sinne des ZTE-Teams.

Dafür gibt es xda oder AH.

Es ware schon wie in den USA die Möglichkeit um unseren bootloader’s zu Unlocken :)

Auch ich habe mir das Axon gekauft, nachdem ich viel von „offizieller CM Unterstützung“ gelesen habe. Es gibt nach Monaten noch nicht mal ein offizielles Cyanogenmod/LineageOS, geschweige den irgendeinen Support (BL Unlock, Root, etc) für das europäische Modell.
Nächstes Mal doch One plus…

Ich hatte vor Wochen mal im deutschen Facebook Support Chat nachgefragt.

Cyanogen unterstütztung nur usa genauso wie root.

Problem ist, das man bei allen Versprechungen und Ankündigungen nie weiß welche version gemeint ist. Die meisten Ankündigungen treffen bis jetzt nur auf die USA Version zu.

Hätte ich das früher gewusst wäre vielleicht die Wahl auf ein anderes, Smartphone gefallen.

Aber mal abwarten wie sich zte Deutschland entwickelt.
Deutsches Forum, beta tester… Klingt bis jetzt super.

Ok everybody,

First of all I want to make clear to everyone that unlocking and rooting your a2017g will NOT void your warranty as stated by European law. ZTE has nothing to say in this matter. If you brick your device the seller must repair your device without any costs. Within six months you have nothing to fear (not allowed to ask questions). Even after those six months you have the right to root and unlock your device without any consequences since you have the right to install apps that require root. So ZTE MUST provide a option to root your device. This does not mean you are allowed to overclock the phone or install a custom kernel which can cause hardware damage.

So here my proposal to ZTE: Implement root in developer options and unlock the bootloader; it’s quite discriminating to only exclude the global version.

I urge everyone to try to root your device within six months after you bought your device. And please write about how you managed or how you bricked your device.

If you have bricked your device sent it back to your provider and you’ll get a new one. Maybe this is the only way to get things moving.

Sorry for my attitude right now but I’m getting impatient. Believe me I will put real big pressure on ZTE but I’ll need you!
